Fake Clouds and Real Clouds

Posted on August 23, 2011

There are many products available in the accounting industry that are marketed as “cloud” products. So what makes a product truly a cloud product? Xero recently posted a fantastic blog post describing three stages of moving into the cloud. The advantages of being completely in the cloud (as Xero is) are also denoted and I think it’s worth a look at:

This is really exciting. I do all of my clients accounting manually using QuicksBooks and then create a Vision MoneyMap and provide money behavioral therapeutic coaching. I set up the chart of accounts in a strategic and combined flow form business to personal – so it’s not just for tax prep.

I would love to find software/application or develop them so that they have immediate up to date info on the balances in their Vision (budget).

Would love to understand more about Xero and your services.

    All my best, Aine
